My Top 50 Albums of 2010
Not looking to be objective (and certainly not authoritative) with this thing, just a list of my favorite albums of 2010 in order of personal preference. As with tracks, I submitted a ballot in P4K’s Albums List and contributed to that feature but this is not that ballot. Plenty of these LPs didn’t make the cut (or weren’t considered) over there, though, and those are presented...

My Top 50 Tracks of 2010
Kept this to one song per artist, which leaves out tracks I really loved (“Runaway”, “Pow Pow”, HDTW’s “Decisions”, etc etc) but ideally gives a wider look at what I was feeling in 2010. As I’ve done the past few years, I submitted ballots for P4K’s Albums and Tracks lists and contributed to those features. This isn’t my tracks ballot...

There is some GQ blog post [imagine link here] criticizing D.C. political insiders and reporters for sharing their favorite music of the year. Oh no! You’re not allowed to have an opinion on or enjoy music if you don’t write about it professionally, apparently. This type of shit would be annoying if it wasn’t so boring. Get jobs, people.

underwaterpeoples asked: Glen is the best character/casting job i've ever had the pleasure of witnessing. his physical shell is classic greasy creep, yet his inner glow is erie and calm. i love glen. betty's 2 dimensional understanding of him has been somewhat interesting to watch, but i'm still waiting for someone to stair at glen with a facial expression that reads "what the hell are you?"...
